Products we currently use & love:
Redken acidic shampoo & conditioner
Redken acidic heat protectant
K18 oil
K18 conditioning balm & rejuvenation spray
Pureology 21 leave in conditioning spray
Please be very gentle when washing your wig. Do not get conditioner or oil based products on or near the lace or silk top EVER. (this can make knots fall out of lace areas) Gently swirl wig in soapy (shampoo) water, do not scrub or agitate harshly. We recommend hang to air dry. Only use a wide tooth comb on your human hair piece to prevent knot/hair fallout. For best results and lowest density look: we recommend using a high quality flat iron when dry (with heat protectant) under 300 degrees....and then curl as desired. Be very careful with lace areas of wig as knots can fall out very easily. Please treat your wig very gently.... This will help it last longer!! BABY THOSE WIGS

Lisa & Grace
short answer is......YES and NO
Only Virgin or European hair can be lightened (non-factory dyed colors)
Factory dyed wigs can be darkened only (low lights, toning etc)
*Please contact us if you have any questions about customizing your Lisa Grace Wig *OR* other brand wig.
*Please ONLY take your wig to a licensed cosmetologist who has extensive knowledge of working with wigs. There are so many factors that are very unique to wigs.... that do not apply to bio hair care. We do also recommend (besides us lol) Kerry of New Wave Hair co. who is an amazing colorist.
The life of your wig will depend on many factors to estimate total life of the wig.
Things that help your wig last longer:
having more than one wig to rotate
treating your wig very gently
brushing carefully lace top or silk top areas, (we prefer a very wide tooth comb for daily brushings)
not getting any oil based products/conditioner etc. near the knots, lace areas or silk top
being prepared/accepting your wig likely will need color refreshing over time (we offer this!), trims, deep conditioning etc. There is a lot of ongoing care for human hair wigs.... just like Bio hair!~ some wigs will need ventilation at some point, putting hair back into the cap. We recommend The wig station for ventilation and cap/wig fixes. If lace is stretched, it can be taken in. Don't just throw away a wig with problems, if you love the fit and hairline..... likely it can be repaired!! If you have an iWig, they can likely assist you if issues arrive like knot loss at lace or silk areas, or any cap issues over time.
allow your wig to air dry versus using a blow dryer
using heat protectant (not on silk or lace areas) prior to any heat
keeping heat tools below 280 F
do not wear your wig in a pool, spa, beach etc. we recommend have a synthetic for this!!
We recommend, if you can.... have a few wigs so you can rotate them around. I like to add a new wig to my collection each year, if I can. I know these beauties are very expensive!! Lace tops in general last approximately a year (because the lace is very delicate and fragile, having more than one will help longevity).... BUT I can tell you I personally have several that are >3 years old.... and have had a few that did last around a year. Silk tops should last longer, I estimate more like 1-2 years.... but can last a lot longer as well! We have recolored iWigs that were 2-5 years old that were still going strong & just needed some TLC (A major SPA wig day!) Basically life of the wig will vary depending on so many factors.
In Conclusion, Your Grace: Your wig isn’t just an accessory; it's a part of your royal identity. These guidelines aren't merely instructions; they are an elegant dance designed to help you keep your wig as magnificent, charming, and timeless as you are. Treat your locks like royalty, and they’ll crown you every day!
